The World's Finest Super Premium Vodka

The uncompromising creation: When no expense is spared

About Trump Vodka

From the distillation process up to the hand-made creation of the Italian Bruni Glass bottle, no expense was spared in the creation of Trump Vodka.

Trump Super Premium Vodka is distilled five times from the best select premium European wheat, and stored in stainless steel tanks for six months. The distillate is then filtered through a carbon filtration process twice, run through a 9-column filtration process and carbon filtered twice more before resting in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling. This unparalleled distillation process delivers/results in a pure, creamy taste, characterized rich oily texture and notes of toasted grain, paraffin and jasmine.

Trump Vodka's recipe was made and distilled in Holland between 2006 to 2010 by renowned Dutch master distiller Jacques De Lat (a third-generation master distiller) at A.H. Wanders B.V. Distillery in Rotterdam (operated since 1631, and owned since 2002 by René Vriends) as a luxury vodka from select premium European wheat.

The bottle was designed by the late award-winning New York designer and artist Milton Glaser (1929-2020) and was hand-made of famed premium Bruni Glass in Milan, Italy (today owned by Berlin Packaging since 2016), and surmounted with a gold-leaf label.

The brand was discontinued after 2011 due to several years of declining sells lead by the world's financial crisis of 2008.

The crisis lead to declining purchases of luxury goods worldwide, including luxury beverages. The slim profit margins between the high manufacturing costs (which included the quality wheat, the extensive distillation and filtration process, and the luxurious bottles manufacture) and between the selling price which aimed to compete with cheaper and more cost-competitive brands in the premium Vodka market, also contributed to the losses, and did not allowed the brand to remain profitable during the years of global financial decline that followed 2008.

The A.H. Wanders B.V. Distillery was also facing financial difficulties, which lead it to file for bankrupcy during 2010, and prompted the production of Trump Vodka to be moved to the famous August Ernst Distillary in Bad Oldesloe, Germany (operate since 1898).

By 2011, production of the vodka had ceased, and the brand was effectively discontinued, though it continued to be sold in limited quantities from stocks in some international markets for a short period afterward.

By 2013, after the end of the 8-years-license agreement which was signed in 2005 between The Trump Organization and Drinks America to produce trump vodka, any remaining international production had ceased, marking the official end of the Trump Vodka brand.

Today it is sought after as a collectors item due to its association with U.S. president Donald J. Trump, and the rare bottles that are still remain sealed and unopened are sold for thousands of dollars.
